WEBVTT 00:00.000 --> 00:29.600 rest area. 00:30.000 --> 00:38.920 Hi everyone, this is Claudia Militarou back on John Militarou Ministries show. 00:38.920 --> 00:41.480 I'm here with my father John Militarou. 00:41.480 --> 00:47.000 We just got back from our December trip, our annual Christmas trip that we take every year. 00:47.000 --> 00:48.000 We just got back. 00:48.000 --> 00:49.000 It was a very successful trip. 00:49.000 --> 00:50.840 It was a very interesting trip. 00:50.840 --> 00:55.440 We've never experienced some of the stuff that we experienced ever before, which we'll 00:55.440 --> 00:58.180 get more in detail later on in this show. 00:58.180 --> 01:01.440 But first of all, I want to say thank you to everyone that's helped us with everything 01:01.440 --> 01:07.240 and prayed for us, prayed for our safety, which is very important, what was very important 01:07.240 --> 01:12.900 on this trip, and for all God's blessing that He helped us with everything that we did. 01:12.900 --> 01:16.440 Before we start, before I want to get into any details of the trip, I wanted to read 01:16.440 --> 01:20.160 the scripture that my dad and I picked out before we started this program. 01:20.160 --> 01:26.840 I want to go first in the chapter, which is the book of Matthew, chapter 19, but I want 01:26.840 --> 01:28.160 to go to verse 13 first. 01:28.160 --> 01:29.160 It says here, 01:29.160 --> 01:33.840 Then the little children were brought to him, that he might put his hands on them and prayed. 01:33.840 --> 01:35.560 But the disciples rebuked them. 01:35.560 --> 01:38.600 So the disciples basically rebuked the kids from coming to Jesus. 01:38.600 --> 01:41.600 See, a lot of people forget that kids are innocent. 01:41.600 --> 01:48.480 They are the future of anything, of this world, and they just put them aside. 01:48.480 --> 01:53.600 See, John Militarou Ministries, we see the kids as innocent people that need to show 01:53.600 --> 01:57.400 love to and to understand there is someone out there that loves them. 01:57.400 --> 02:01.480 And I thought of that, you know, that was very important because Jesus says here, but 02:01.480 --> 02:05.640 Jesus said, Let the little children come to me and do not forbid them, for all such is 02:05.640 --> 02:07.060 the kingdom of heaven. 02:07.060 --> 02:09.440 So we need not to forget the kids at all. 02:09.440 --> 02:13.320 And that's our focus with these Christmas packages, to show the love to these little 02:13.320 --> 02:14.320 children. 02:14.320 --> 02:18.240 Because where we go to, we go to the little villages tucked away in areas that you can 02:18.240 --> 02:19.960 never imagine where they're at. 02:19.960 --> 02:24.440 A lot of people think of the cities, think of the local towns near the cities, but they 02:24.440 --> 02:25.840 forget about the villages. 02:25.840 --> 02:26.840 And that's the focus. 02:26.840 --> 02:27.840 That's what we do. 02:27.840 --> 02:33.760 We go to the deep, deep villages where it's impossible to go many times, even by vehicle 02:33.760 --> 02:38.720 or even by, I mean, you need a horse with a sleigh to go through the snow to get to 02:38.720 --> 02:40.600 some of these villages. 02:40.600 --> 02:45.240 But that's why I wanted to mention first, I wanted to focus on that, that the kids, 02:45.240 --> 02:48.600 what was our focus on this trip, to show them the love that when they grow up one day, they 02:48.600 --> 02:52.600 won't forget that somebody actually cared about them at Christmas, that they came over 02:52.600 --> 02:58.160 there personally to give them a gift and show their love to them and show the love of Jesus. 02:58.160 --> 03:01.960 And you can read the next verse from verse 14 also. 03:01.960 --> 03:06.080 Yeah, the first 14 says, and he laid hands on them and departed from there. 03:06.080 --> 03:11.600 So Jesus prayed for them and laid hands and loved on them out of his whole heart, because 03:11.600 --> 03:13.800 he knows that kids are the future of the world. 03:13.800 --> 03:19.120 And before you start to describe the trip, this part of Romania, which we went, it's 03:19.120 --> 03:27.920 the northern and the coldest point in Romania, which is Moldova, Ukraine and Romania. 03:27.920 --> 03:34.800 And a little city called Dereban, which is only 12,000 people live in that little city. 03:34.800 --> 03:38.800 Near to that city we went this time when it's a lot of poverty. 03:38.800 --> 03:42.160 People they live in so much poverty, their homes are made by mud. 03:42.160 --> 03:46.280 I mean, even the locals call it the third world of Romania. 03:46.280 --> 03:50.760 People I've never actually heard people say that in Romania say this is a third part, 03:50.760 --> 03:55.440 third world of Romania, where you have the cities, you have the towns and then there's 03:55.440 --> 03:56.520 the third world part. 03:56.520 --> 03:58.040 And we never been before. 03:58.040 --> 03:59.800 And also your brother came with us. 03:59.800 --> 04:03.400 Emmanuel, my brother came with me and my dad and was us three. 04:03.400 --> 04:06.800 And then we had two other people from Germany that joined us. 04:06.800 --> 04:09.240 And then we had two other people from the local areas. 04:09.240 --> 04:13.000 It was a smaller team than usual, but you know, it was actually a blessed. 04:13.000 --> 04:15.240 We were very prosperous in what we did. 04:15.240 --> 04:18.400 We finished packages even faster than before. 04:18.400 --> 04:22.200 It was a short trip and successful. 04:22.200 --> 04:27.840 But what we did first, we started off with arriving there to the local room in the local 04:27.840 --> 04:32.560 city where we usually go to, where we stationed in the little church where we bought, you 04:32.560 --> 04:37.920 know, we brought all the food, all the chocolates, the sweets, the teddy bears, and we did a 04:37.920 --> 04:39.040 whole assembly line. 04:39.040 --> 04:41.080 We made a nice package. 04:41.080 --> 04:45.120 If you pretty soon will go to a videotape where I explain each package, what we have 04:45.120 --> 04:49.880 in them from the from all the sweets, all the way to the teddy bear. 04:49.880 --> 04:51.920 If you guys want, you can roll that video. 04:51.920 --> 04:59.160 And this video show the go down this line that we created an assembly line here. 04:59.160 --> 05:03.120 And I'll explain to you guys exactly what we've ever put in each package. 05:03.120 --> 05:08.040 Today we went and bought these little chocolates from the flea market. 05:08.040 --> 05:09.680 We got a good price for these. 05:09.680 --> 05:12.040 These are actually Ukrainian chocolates. 05:12.040 --> 05:13.040 We got these. 05:13.040 --> 05:15.160 We're going to put one of these in each package. 05:15.160 --> 05:21.760 And then the church in Ingolstadt helped us purchase some Napoleon wafers. 05:21.760 --> 05:25.980 And we're going to put one of these packages in the in the in the bag. 05:25.980 --> 05:33.080 And then also we purchased a biscuit vanilla. 05:33.080 --> 05:36.920 It's like a cookie, Romanian style cookie where it's either filled with chocolate filling 05:36.920 --> 05:38.440 or vanilla filling. 05:38.440 --> 05:40.240 We bought these to put one of these. 05:40.240 --> 05:47.280 And then we also have a box of raisins that were donated from America from Fresno, California. 05:47.280 --> 05:49.680 Actually, we appreciate them for helping us out. 05:49.680 --> 05:52.740 And we're going to probably put two of these in each package. 05:52.740 --> 05:57.520 And then lastly, we also have chocolate bars that once again, the church in Ingolstadt 05:57.520 --> 05:59.660 helped us purchase these. 05:59.660 --> 06:04.400 These are pretty big chocolate chocolates to put in the package. 06:04.400 --> 06:08.000 And when the kids see this, they are shocked because a lot of people can't even afford 06:08.000 --> 06:11.240 to buy this to give to their child for Christmas. 06:11.240 --> 06:13.840 So we're we're happy to have these. 06:13.840 --> 06:19.720 And then our brother Georgica is putting together our bags that every year we do. 06:19.720 --> 06:24.520 We put a label on here with a scripture from Isaiah explaining the meaning of Christmas 06:24.520 --> 06:26.660 to each child. 06:26.660 --> 06:29.280 So they know the message of the meaning of Christmas. 06:29.280 --> 06:33.640 So this is a good way of spreading the word at Christmas time to the non-Christians. 06:33.640 --> 06:40.200 So we purchase these bags and he's putting these labels on each and one of them. 06:40.200 --> 06:45.080 And lastly, the most famous thing that we do for John Lutheran Ministries, we collect 06:45.080 --> 06:49.300 teddy bears throughout the whole year and we put teddy bears in each package. 06:49.300 --> 06:58.500 And so we're going to be putting this in the package with all the goodies that we have. 06:58.500 --> 07:02.680 This is something that these kids never receive anything and their families don't even have 07:02.680 --> 07:04.840 anything to give them for Christmas. 07:04.840 --> 07:08.300 And of course, we go to the villages, not the cities, mostly to the villages where nobody 07:08.300 --> 07:10.280 actually goes to them. 07:10.280 --> 07:12.960 We're predicting approximately a thousand. 07:12.960 --> 07:18.560 We're trying to do these packages for them. 07:18.560 --> 07:20.120 See this is what we did. 07:20.120 --> 07:24.640 Those are all the items that we put on each package and we were able to give approximately 07:24.640 --> 07:32.320 fifteen hundred out, including a local network where we always give some kids probably two 07:32.320 --> 07:33.320 hundred and fifty kids. 07:33.320 --> 07:34.320 Exactly. 07:34.320 --> 07:37.520 And in a local church that helped us with that always helps us. 07:37.520 --> 07:39.640 We're actually in connection with them all the time. 07:39.640 --> 07:42.800 But we that's approximately fifteen hundred packages we made this year. 07:42.800 --> 07:45.960 It's not necessarily the number that we focus on. 07:45.960 --> 07:48.320 It's actually where we go and who we touch. 07:48.320 --> 07:53.000 We want to go to areas where nobody goes that nobody even considers going where it's actually 07:53.000 --> 07:54.000 impossible to go. 07:54.000 --> 07:59.200 This year we were hit with a lot of snow, a lot of weather conditions, and somehow we 07:59.200 --> 08:04.000 made it halfway through there and we were able to distribute all those packages. 08:04.000 --> 08:07.960 But you know it was it was not planned the way certain things happened. 08:07.960 --> 08:13.280 For instance, we got stuck in the snow for a little bit for five days and four nights 08:13.280 --> 08:15.160 and we got delayed coming back home. 08:15.160 --> 08:20.320 But we thank God for His protection and providing us a place to stay while we were stranded, 08:20.320 --> 08:24.280 literally stranded in a little village when we didn't know a soul there at all. 08:24.280 --> 08:29.180 But God helped us meet someone and they welcomed us in their home and opened their arms wide 08:29.180 --> 08:30.440 open with food. 08:30.440 --> 08:36.440 And I mean we were eleven people in two rooms only, which is pretty close quarters, especially 08:36.440 --> 08:39.960 for us Americans growing up here in America where we're used to our big homes and you 08:39.960 --> 08:42.840 know we all want our little spaces in our house. 08:42.840 --> 08:48.480 But we thank God for not allowing us to stay in the local schools on benches sleeping on 08:48.480 --> 08:49.480 them. 08:49.480 --> 08:53.200 But He opened us a house for us where we could stay. 08:53.200 --> 08:58.640 So the villages where we visited, where we visited Red U, we went to the local schools. 08:58.640 --> 09:01.040 We spoke to them ahead of time. 09:01.040 --> 09:02.040 We told them... 09:02.040 --> 09:03.320 I want to mention about those villages. 09:03.320 --> 09:10.240 When I went in September and searched the area myself, I checked to a local pastor over 09:10.240 --> 09:15.160 there from Redim and he described to me those villages. 09:15.160 --> 09:17.640 Nobody did anything for them. 09:17.640 --> 09:18.640 Before. 09:18.640 --> 09:19.640 Before. 09:19.640 --> 09:25.960 And also they are not even maybe one or two Christian, evangelical Christian in that area. 09:25.960 --> 09:28.920 All of them they call themselves Christian as the Orthodox. 09:28.920 --> 09:29.920 As Greek Orthodox. 09:29.920 --> 09:32.960 But they have nothing to do with the relationship with Christ. 09:32.960 --> 09:36.960 And the important thing is when we came in those villages, and we're going to show later 09:36.960 --> 09:42.000 on in the video, we share with them about Christ. 09:42.000 --> 09:43.000 What is all about. 09:43.000 --> 09:48.360 Not only giving gifts to the kids, but also give them hope for the eternity and tell them 09:48.360 --> 09:50.600 about what we celebrate about. 09:50.600 --> 09:52.000 What's the meaning of Christmas. 09:52.000 --> 09:57.000 Yeah, because when we asked them many times, I asked them, I said, what is the celebration 09:57.000 --> 09:58.120 this month? 09:58.120 --> 10:01.440 Some of them they said Santa Claus. 10:01.440 --> 10:03.720 Other they said, well, it's Christmas. 10:03.720 --> 10:05.680 Other they said it's the birth of Jesus. 10:05.680 --> 10:10.680 And then I start open the Bible and talk to them about Jesus because not only the kids 10:10.680 --> 10:14.720 was there, but some of the parents and most of the teachers. 10:14.720 --> 10:21.520 And even the priest because they have religious hours there where they teach religion class. 10:21.520 --> 10:24.880 So this time we went to Rediu, Myrcan. 10:24.880 --> 10:26.840 Myrcan, we went to. 10:26.840 --> 10:29.040 We went to Rydhudzprut. 10:29.040 --> 10:34.680 And then those are the three villages we were able to visit ourselves for the first day. 10:34.680 --> 10:39.000 And we went into the schools and we talked to the principals, we talked to the directors 10:39.000 --> 10:41.440 and we gathered, they knew we were all coming. 10:41.440 --> 10:42.720 They were all prepared for us to come. 10:42.720 --> 10:44.640 They get all the kids from the village. 10:44.640 --> 10:48.600 From preschool all the way to seventh grade. 10:48.600 --> 10:49.600 Or seventh grade. 10:49.600 --> 10:50.600 Or eighth grade. 10:50.600 --> 10:51.600 Or seventh grade. 10:51.600 --> 10:56.720 But we mostly focused on the smaller classes like the preschool all the way to fourth, 10:56.720 --> 10:57.720 fifth grade. 10:57.720 --> 11:00.560 Because the older kids are a handful of them only. 11:00.560 --> 11:01.560 Just a few. 11:01.560 --> 11:05.960 Each school had approximately two, three hundred kids in them. 11:05.960 --> 11:08.920 And we went over there and we spoke to them. 11:08.920 --> 11:12.520 The directors and the principals were completely open for us to come. 11:12.520 --> 11:16.120 They were actually happy and excited for us to go in their school. 11:16.120 --> 11:18.760 They allowed us to read the scripture and the Bible. 11:18.760 --> 11:22.600 They allowed us to explain, to pray for them, to bless them. 11:22.600 --> 11:27.200 And they actually, some of them had a song prepared for us in Romanian. 11:27.200 --> 11:31.640 Actually a Christian song to sing to us because they want to thank us for coming in the school. 11:31.640 --> 11:35.720 So it was a very successful time over there. 11:35.720 --> 11:40.360 We can show the video which we start first with the radium, right? 11:40.360 --> 11:41.360 Redu. 11:41.360 --> 11:44.200 We went in there and then we went into the other. 11:44.200 --> 11:49.040 But this video actually talks about how we were taking each goodie and put them in the 11:49.040 --> 11:50.040 bag. 11:50.040 --> 11:51.040 This is how the bag was formed. 11:51.040 --> 11:53.200 It's myself, my dad, my brother Emmanuel. 11:53.200 --> 11:57.840 And then we have Pastor Georgica with Sister Veronika. 11:57.840 --> 12:00.840 And then we also have a couple other people that are going to come in and help us. 12:00.840 --> 12:01.840 But it's a lot of work. 12:01.840 --> 12:07.480 It's going to take us several hours, probably a day or two to put everything together. 12:07.480 --> 12:11.040 But this is the whole goal is to come here in the middle of winter. 12:11.040 --> 12:12.840 It's actually pretty cold. 12:12.840 --> 12:15.480 It's minus 10 Celsius, which is approximately what? 12:15.480 --> 12:17.440 10, 15 degrees outside. 12:17.440 --> 12:18.440 We're pretty bundled up. 12:18.440 --> 12:24.480 Thankfully we have a good stove here that is providing us enough heat in this building. 12:24.480 --> 12:26.800 And we'll be able to put this together. 12:26.800 --> 12:30.240 So we start off with two of these special chocolates from Ukraine that we have. 12:30.240 --> 12:32.600 We're going to put two of these in the package. 12:32.600 --> 12:33.600 The Napoleon wafers. 12:33.600 --> 12:39.520 We're going to put a Romanian biscuit with a filling of vanilla in them. 12:39.520 --> 12:46.520 And then we're going to put two boxes of raisins in each package, a bar of chocolate, and then 12:46.520 --> 12:49.920 dad, and a teddy bear. 12:49.920 --> 12:50.920 That's how we create these packages. 12:50.920 --> 12:54.800 We're going to create each and every one of them like this by hand. 12:54.800 --> 13:01.840 And then we hand distribute them to the kids. 13:01.840 --> 13:03.880 We did those all by hand. 13:03.880 --> 13:06.240 We were a very small handful of people. 13:06.240 --> 13:07.240 Fifteen hundred. 13:07.240 --> 13:09.160 We did fifteen packages by hand. 13:09.160 --> 13:10.160 It took a lot of time. 13:10.160 --> 13:11.160 It was very cold. 13:11.160 --> 13:14.320 Obviously you can see that we were all bundled up. 13:14.320 --> 13:15.680 What is it about that stove over there? 13:15.680 --> 13:16.680 I know. 13:16.680 --> 13:19.840 It's not an interesting heating system. 13:19.840 --> 13:26.460 That's the poor man's heating system in the church. 13:26.460 --> 13:29.920 It's actually handmade by a local guy over there that made that. 13:29.920 --> 13:31.800 And it actually keeps it pretty warm in there. 13:31.800 --> 13:36.720 Well, that man, which is the pastor of that building over there, the church of that place, 13:36.720 --> 13:38.200 he's building a new place. 13:38.200 --> 13:42.240 And we pray the Lord to provide the funds to be able to get a bigger location. 13:42.240 --> 13:46.880 We move our organization over there from Romania, from the south of Romania to the north of 13:46.880 --> 13:51.120 Romania because from next few years we like to touch those areas again. 13:51.120 --> 13:56.560 And that's why we pray the Lord to provide the funds to be able to go in the new building. 13:56.560 --> 14:00.440 But we've been very thankful because we have that place. 14:00.440 --> 14:02.040 Yes, we're very thankful. 14:02.040 --> 14:04.360 Minus 27 Celsius outside. 14:04.360 --> 14:05.920 Which is very cold. 14:05.920 --> 14:06.920 That's extremely cold. 14:06.920 --> 14:07.920 Yes. 14:07.920 --> 14:11.880 And we, so after doing all those packages, we went the first day over there. 14:11.880 --> 14:15.280 So we're in the village of Re Den. 14:15.280 --> 14:21.920 Our first location where we're going, it looks like it's kindergarten through sixth grade, 14:21.920 --> 14:22.920 I believe. 14:22.920 --> 14:23.920 Is that sixth grade? 14:23.920 --> 14:27.760 Five, six, seven, maybe sixth grade, fifth or sixth grade. 14:27.760 --> 14:30.520 How many classes are here? 14:30.520 --> 14:34.400 Classes 0, 1, 4, plus grade 6. 14:34.400 --> 14:38.560 So kindergarten K through fourth grade. 14:38.560 --> 14:45.560 So this is our first location where we're going. 14:45.560 --> 14:48.560 Pretty cold and snowy. 14:48.560 --> 14:55.040 So there's 57 kids in this school, which is kindergarten to fourth grade. 14:55.040 --> 14:59.200 There's three teachers and then there was also 18 kids absent, which we gave to the 14:59.200 --> 15:02.880 professors to give out their gifts to them tomorrow. 15:02.880 --> 15:06.160 So very behaved kids, very well behaved kids. 15:06.160 --> 15:07.160 Really good. 15:07.160 --> 15:08.160 Good job. 15:08.160 --> 15:10.760 We're in the village of Mor Khan. 15:10.760 --> 15:16.960 The professors just told me there's 310 kids, I believe. 15:16.960 --> 15:19.840 And there's kindergarten through eighth grade here. 15:19.840 --> 15:40.400 We've all gathered together in this building over here, so we give them the packages. 15:40.400 --> 16:01.720 They were so thankful. 16:01.720 --> 16:05.120 They came one by one. 16:05.120 --> 16:08.200 The mannerism, they were so well taught in school and by their parents. 16:08.200 --> 16:10.040 They were thanking us. 16:10.040 --> 16:11.040 One by one. 16:11.040 --> 16:12.600 They didn't just, they waited. 16:12.600 --> 16:15.000 One child came up to me and I was going to hand him a gift. 16:15.000 --> 16:16.440 He goes, no, no, no, I already got one. 16:16.440 --> 16:19.200 I just wanted to watch you guys. 16:19.200 --> 16:23.040 Most kids in other areas would say they would have taken another bag and lied to you. 16:23.040 --> 16:29.360 Well, like a year before was an area near north of Romania, also we did in 2011. 16:29.360 --> 16:33.800 And there were so many kids over there and some of them, they hide their packets and 16:33.800 --> 16:34.800 they want another one. 16:34.800 --> 16:35.800 Exactly. 16:35.800 --> 16:36.800 But these kids were different. 16:36.800 --> 16:37.800 But those kids were so different. 16:37.800 --> 16:38.800 I've been so amazed. 16:38.800 --> 16:44.000 I mean, I've never seen in my life, they are so poor, but so well mannered. 16:44.000 --> 16:45.000 Well mannered, well behaved. 16:45.000 --> 16:48.440 I mean, we even talked to the teachers there and that's their focus. 16:48.440 --> 16:49.440 The teachers actually. 16:49.440 --> 16:52.200 Every single hour almost they said thank you in Romanian language. 16:52.200 --> 16:53.200 Oh yeah. 16:53.200 --> 16:54.200 Thank you. 16:54.200 --> 16:55.200 Thank you. 16:55.200 --> 16:58.040 From all the way from the preschool age all the way to the seventh, eighth grade age. 16:58.040 --> 17:01.600 They were all thanking us for everything that we did for them to actually come out there. 17:01.600 --> 17:05.440 Because nobody actually never went out there to give out packages. 17:05.440 --> 17:07.120 And we went back again. 17:07.120 --> 17:09.520 Unfortunately, we were blocked in. 17:09.520 --> 17:15.720 We got blocked in and we were able to leave a handful of items with the locals over there 17:15.720 --> 17:20.120 that we trusted and actually a local elder of the church. 17:20.120 --> 17:24.040 And he actually donated all the rest of the stuff, right dad? 17:24.040 --> 17:28.160 So we're in the village of Rea Du. 17:28.160 --> 17:31.400 Surrounding villages are where we're supposed to donate this food, but unfortunately the 17:31.400 --> 17:33.040 roads are blocked. 17:33.040 --> 17:37.380 And it's impossible for us to go in the area to deliver this by hand. 17:37.380 --> 17:42.400 So we're actually in the one of the elders home here that he's the main guy that travels 17:42.400 --> 17:46.440 around these villages to take care of the Christians over here. 17:46.440 --> 17:52.040 And so we're going to package them individually in each bag according to the family. 17:52.040 --> 17:55.960 According to the family and what we're going to put in there, we're going to put rice. 17:55.960 --> 17:57.280 We have rice. 17:57.280 --> 18:00.840 This was donated by the church in Ingolstadt. 18:00.840 --> 18:04.360 We've worked with them several times and we're thankful that they've donated once again to 18:04.360 --> 18:05.360 help us out. 18:05.360 --> 18:06.360 So we have rice. 18:06.360 --> 18:09.360 We have pasta. 18:09.360 --> 18:13.440 We have some oil to give to them. 18:13.440 --> 18:15.880 Flour and sugar. 18:15.880 --> 18:22.000 These are just necessary, how should I say, pantry needs that they need to have to survive 18:22.000 --> 18:24.600 if they're trapped or if they don't have anything. 18:24.600 --> 18:28.600 So this will make a difference for them in the winter months, especially now when they're 18:28.600 --> 18:30.120 trapped in their homes. 18:30.120 --> 18:35.720 So what our plan is to do is to put all the supplies in the package and then we go and 18:35.720 --> 18:39.360 we'll put them by name, by how many kids there are in each family. 18:39.360 --> 18:43.920 And after that, when the roads clear up a little bit, they'll come in and pick up their 18:43.920 --> 18:44.920 package. 18:44.920 --> 18:47.400 And you have 35? 18:47.400 --> 18:49.680 There are approximately 35 families. 18:49.680 --> 18:53.480 Some of them range from 13 kids, 15 kids, or one child. 18:53.480 --> 18:57.920 So we have to do according to how many kids are in the family. 18:57.920 --> 19:03.440 So this is the list that was given to us by the locals here, by one of the elders in the 19:03.440 --> 19:08.520 church. 19:08.520 --> 19:13.720 So unfortunately we were not able to go to the rest of the villages, the schools that 19:13.720 --> 19:17.480 we were planned to go to, to donate the rest of the kids packages. 19:17.480 --> 19:22.800 So we had to leave them here to one of the elders in the church that he can go donate 19:22.800 --> 19:24.840 them personally to the schools. 19:24.840 --> 19:28.600 They're expecting us to come by, but there are more storms coming in. 19:28.600 --> 19:33.560 There's approximately nine feet of snow blocked up on the roads. 19:33.560 --> 19:34.560 That's why we can't even go through. 19:34.560 --> 19:36.760 Nine feet of snow, that's a lot of snow. 19:36.760 --> 19:41.000 And the cloud machines haven't had a chance to come by and to clean up the roads yet. 19:41.000 --> 19:44.320 So there's no way for us to go through it. 19:44.320 --> 19:47.400 There's no way for us to go in next week because they say there's another big storm coming 19:47.400 --> 19:48.400 in next week. 19:48.400 --> 19:50.480 So that's where we're storing them. 19:50.480 --> 19:56.520 And then as soon as the roads open up, that's where they'll be donating the rest of the 19:56.520 --> 19:57.960 packages. 19:57.960 --> 20:01.360 All these dry goods, we thought of it ahead of time saying this is a good pantry need 20:01.360 --> 20:03.400 in everyone's home to have. 20:03.400 --> 20:06.160 Was a ton of food we brought from Germany. 20:06.160 --> 20:10.280 For Germany, we had two people that came with us from Germany, actually drove all the way 20:10.280 --> 20:13.800 from Germany, all the way to Romania, which took them almost two days. 20:13.800 --> 20:16.320 With a little trailer in the back of the van. 20:16.320 --> 20:19.960 And they came over there and we unfortunately we were not able to go to the families to 20:19.960 --> 20:21.600 donate the food. 20:21.600 --> 20:26.400 But we got all the names of the families, wrote each name on the bag. 20:26.400 --> 20:31.000 We assembled, we put each bag according to how many kids or how many people were in the 20:31.000 --> 20:32.000 family. 20:32.000 --> 20:37.020 We put all the food in there and we gave the permission to the local elder of the church 20:37.020 --> 20:42.080 over there to go deliver them once the roads opened up because the weather was so bad that 20:42.080 --> 20:44.320 the villages were actually snowed in. 20:44.320 --> 20:45.800 Like six feet high. 20:45.800 --> 20:47.800 At least six to nine feet high. 20:47.800 --> 20:48.800 People were snowed in. 20:48.800 --> 20:49.800 Literally. 20:49.800 --> 20:52.640 They couldn't believe until we saw with our own eyes when we got stuck in the snow how 20:52.640 --> 20:55.000 easy you are stranded in there. 20:55.000 --> 20:57.640 So it was Saturday morning because we left early in the morning. 20:57.640 --> 21:02.040 And our desire is to leave back Monday towards the middle of the country to catch the plane 21:02.040 --> 21:03.040 on Wednesday. 21:03.040 --> 21:04.040 To go home, yes. 21:04.040 --> 21:05.160 But that was not possible. 21:05.160 --> 21:06.160 We stood there Saturday. 21:06.160 --> 21:09.840 Saturday we got stuck around two o'clock in the afternoon. 21:09.840 --> 21:13.800 After we finished the mission over there we got Saturday night all night long. 21:13.800 --> 21:16.040 Sunday morning we went to this family. 21:16.040 --> 21:18.960 We walked, actually we had the military. 21:18.960 --> 21:19.960 Like one mile. 21:19.960 --> 21:25.000 The military from the border because we were right at the border of Moldova and Romania. 21:25.000 --> 21:26.000 They had to come. 21:26.000 --> 21:31.360 They actually, the authorities sent them to us to come and take us, make us get out of 21:31.360 --> 21:33.960 the cars because it was impossible for the plow machines. 21:33.960 --> 21:39.320 The reason, part of the reason we got stuck was the workers, first of all it was a Saturday, 21:39.320 --> 21:41.940 a lot of them went drinking at the bar. 21:41.940 --> 21:45.880 And by the time they realized the snow was coming down so heavily it was too late for 21:45.880 --> 21:46.880 them to come out. 21:46.880 --> 21:51.800 They came out with their plow machines but we forget the plow machines are not plow machines 21:51.800 --> 21:54.000 you see in Western Europe or Romania. 21:54.000 --> 21:55.000 I mean in America. 21:55.000 --> 21:56.000 They are from 1960. 21:56.000 --> 21:57.960 They are from the 60s, like from World War II. 21:57.960 --> 22:01.400 I mean they are so old you should see these plow machines. 22:01.400 --> 22:03.160 You think you are in a movie. 22:03.160 --> 22:08.440 And finally at midnight a plow machine said he is going to come and get us out, one of 22:08.440 --> 22:09.440 the workers. 22:09.440 --> 22:14.880 He came after us and we followed him halfway through between a village and another village 22:14.880 --> 22:15.880 and it broke down. 22:15.880 --> 22:19.040 That's what happened, we broke down in the middle of a field where it was one of the 22:19.040 --> 22:20.040 worst conditions possible. 22:20.040 --> 22:22.240 I mean the wind chilled was incredible. 22:22.240 --> 22:27.880 Every three hours we had to come out to dig the snow around the car because the car was 22:27.880 --> 22:28.880 snowing in. 22:28.880 --> 22:34.600 Exactly, and then finally Sunday after one, two o'clock in the afternoon we had the military 22:34.600 --> 22:40.000 come, two people from the military to come and tell us that we have to walk knee deep 22:40.000 --> 22:41.000 in the snow. 22:41.000 --> 22:42.000 Like a three foot snow. 22:42.000 --> 22:45.760 For an hour, I mean for a mile and a half in the snow to walk. 22:45.760 --> 22:51.320 That's why we say we have never experienced such an adventure before for us in John Milton 22:51.320 --> 22:52.320 Industries. 22:52.320 --> 22:57.080 And he stood there like Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. 22:57.080 --> 23:01.400 Finally Wednesday morning they start cleaning the road for the first time. 23:01.400 --> 23:04.200 Every three hours they were saying they were sending somebody, they were sending somebody 23:04.200 --> 23:07.600 but nobody came over there. 23:07.600 --> 23:15.680 But we were thankful because later on we put those food in those bags for those 35 families 23:15.680 --> 23:17.840 and we took food. 23:17.840 --> 23:19.280 It's called me took food. 23:19.280 --> 23:24.600 I went in September in that area and I searched the area. 23:24.600 --> 23:31.760 Every single house over there almost every from 10, you count like 10 houses, maybe one 23:31.760 --> 23:32.920 is made by brick. 23:32.920 --> 23:34.680 The rest are made by mud. 23:34.680 --> 23:35.680 Mud bricks. 23:35.680 --> 23:37.920 Mud brick and they have no foundation. 23:37.920 --> 23:43.320 They I mean if it's a lot of snow, if it's a lot of rain, they can easy can tilt it. 23:43.320 --> 23:47.560 Like you see we went through one of the homes which was tilted halfway almost and I don't 23:47.560 --> 23:48.560 know how this lady slanted. 23:48.560 --> 23:50.320 It gets slanted. 23:50.320 --> 23:56.720 So we're walking down the street to a widow that is approximately 70 years old and nobody 23:56.720 --> 23:59.440 is here to take care of her, no kids or anything like that. 23:59.440 --> 24:00.440 She lives by herself. 24:00.440 --> 24:05.580 So we're walking down the street to go give her some food that we have that was donated 24:05.580 --> 24:07.920 by some local churches in Germany. 24:07.920 --> 24:12.160 So we're walking in the snow. 24:12.160 --> 24:16.480 This is the widow's house. 24:16.480 --> 24:20.440 This is the house approximately. 24:20.440 --> 24:28.240 It's almost falling down on her. 24:28.240 --> 24:41.120 Go ahead. 24:41.120 --> 24:50.160 testament. She did no testament. Right next to you, she hides her little goats. 24:50.160 --> 24:52.160 No, a new one. 24:52.160 --> 24:54.160 I'm going to go and see what's up. 24:54.160 --> 24:58.160 This is the barn of Redwoods Brun. 24:58.160 --> 25:04.160 Granddaughter, I think. And has a dog inside and also has a little goat. 25:04.160 --> 25:10.160 A little goat, yeah. And the house was all stilted. I don't know how she can stay over there 25:10.160 --> 25:15.120 thinking the house is going to fall down one day and she's never going to come alive from there. 25:15.120 --> 25:20.480 But that's most of the houses made over there by mud. And that's why so much poverty over there in 25:20.480 --> 25:27.840 that area. But we are so glad we were able to do this work of the Lord, actually. And I want to 25:27.840 --> 25:33.040 thank you from the bottom of my heart because without many of you, which they pray for us and 25:33.040 --> 25:40.560 also helping us to do this project, we were not able to do it. Not only because we got stuck in 25:40.560 --> 25:45.840 the snow. That was an experience which probably for Claudia and Emanuel. 25:45.840 --> 25:48.800 But even for yourself. You never got stuck in a snow like this before. 25:48.800 --> 25:57.840 Yeah. It was an experience to be in a country like that which we went to this house, which was a 25:57.840 --> 26:03.280 mud house by the way, this house which you sleep to. And they have no water in the well. 26:04.160 --> 26:09.520 That was quite an experience too because there was actually a huge drought in the fall and the 26:09.520 --> 26:14.640 wells are dried up. And they have just a couple buckets every day, two or three buckets. And they 26:14.640 --> 26:20.160 have to melt the snow and you have to count the water in the bathroom when you go to the bathroom. 26:20.160 --> 26:24.000 We were thankful we actually had a bathroom in the house because most of the time in those kind of 26:24.000 --> 26:30.960 villages you have to use the outhouses. But we were thankful that God, even though you would go, 26:30.960 --> 26:35.200 well, why would God allow you to get stuck in the snow? We don't know why. But look what happened. 26:35.200 --> 26:41.600 He provided a house for us to stay in. A roof, a warm house with food. And people were, they were 26:41.600 --> 26:44.880 actually Christians. And you would have known. Yeah, they were Seventh-day Adventist Christians. 26:44.880 --> 26:50.560 Who would have known that this would have happened? Nobody knew. But we could see little by little how 26:50.560 --> 26:57.120 God led our steps. And I was so thankful because we have some food left in the van. We were able to 26:57.120 --> 27:03.040 help them too. We helped them to give them some good size to have for us probably the whole month 27:03.040 --> 27:09.840 of December and January with the food we were able to help them. This program is the first program 27:09.840 --> 27:18.400 we did in 2013 after we came from this mission. But I believe the Lord will keep that door open 27:18.400 --> 27:27.120 for many of you to be touched by the Gospel and to be changed because the time is now. Exactly how 27:27.120 --> 27:33.040 we like to do it over and over again to go in those conditions in Christmas time and the winter time. 27:33.040 --> 27:40.160 You helping us, you've been a part of this mission. Some of you maybe will say, well, I don't know if 27:40.160 --> 27:46.320 I can do that. But you can do it through the things what the Lord put in your heart. Some people, 27:46.320 --> 27:52.160 they help us in this mission with teddy bears. We thank you for these couples which they 27:52.160 --> 27:58.480 provided teddy bears for us. Lee Hanson and Levan, they provide all these teddy bears. We thank you 27:58.480 --> 28:06.640 for the two churches in Germany which they provide for us that be bars of chocolates and also those, 28:06.640 --> 28:14.560 how you call that? Napoleon's wifers and the food and the families. Yeah and also we thank you for 28:14.560 --> 28:19.520 the people from the United States which give us the finances to be able to purchase some more stuff 28:19.520 --> 28:26.320 for Romania and also to pay for the gasoline and for our tickets and to see the blessing of God. 28:27.280 --> 28:34.960 We need a team and only the Lord can put a team together like that. People from Germany, 28:34.960 --> 28:44.720 from the United States and also from Romania. Is the team or is there? But also is the desire too. 28:44.720 --> 28:47.600 Right? We have to have a desire to do these things. The heart for it. Yes. 28:48.640 --> 28:53.200 If you would like to receive our monthly newsletter, please call us at our toll free number 28:53.200 --> 29:03.040 888-622-5788 or email us at johnmelotaru at yahoo.com. You will be up to date on our mission work, 29:03.040 --> 29:06.160 our television ministry and a word to bless and encourage you. 30:03.040 --> 30:10.560 My brother Mitica calls him that, he was our guide and he took us to all these 30:10.560 --> 30:16.000 communes and he says don't come on Friday because the roads are blocked. The roads were blocked. 30:17.600 --> 30:21.840 I say yes, Saturday, at least Saturday and then I said let's go on Saturday, 30:21.840 --> 30:24.880 even though he said Saturday and Saturday the roads are blocked. 30:25.520 --> 30:30.720 Then I said let's pray to the Lord and let's go because we had to be in the 30:30.720 --> 30:36.480 club on Monday night to go to the club because Wednesday morning at 6 we have to take the plane. 30:36.480 --> 30:43.920 On the 19th. Yes. And we left. The road was free until we reached the Redium. 30:43.920 --> 30:50.240 When we arrived in the Redium, there in the Redium we left, our van loaded with bags and 30:50.240 --> 30:57.360 packages for the children, the van of my brother Seb who died in the back of the car with a ton of food 30:57.360 --> 31:04.160 and the food he bought from Germany, my brothers and who prepared it to bring it there, 31:04.160 --> 31:09.680 was food from this that was at least for a month for the family. 31:09.680 --> 31:14.320 Indeed, and when he wrote in the newsletter, when he wrote the story in December, he impressed me 31:14.320 --> 31:21.840 very much and in November, we actually mentioned in November that this was our wish, 31:21.840 --> 31:29.360 to have food strictly necessary at least for a month, a month and a half for the difficult 31:29.360 --> 31:35.840 winter period, not knowing what will happen, not knowing how important it is to be led by the 31:35.840 --> 31:40.880 Spirit of God, how to lead you and what I wanted, that was our wish, to have flour, 31:40.880 --> 31:47.040 to have sugar, to have rice, to have flour paste, right? And cooking oil. And cooking oil. 31:47.040 --> 31:51.680 And God has done everything, just as you said in the first program and I want to mention again, 31:51.680 --> 31:57.600 Gian, with all the adventures you have gone through, what touched me extraordinarily much, 31:57.600 --> 32:07.600 both with my brothers here in America and with those from Germany, very much the heart, 32:07.600 --> 32:13.040 because you can see when it is made of the heart. Already some of our viewers who are 32:13.040 --> 32:19.920 watching the program now are familiar with some of your adventures because we looked 32:19.920 --> 32:28.880 at what we received from you on Facebook and I was very impressed by the phones and how 32:28.880 --> 32:34.800 they were looking for us here. Some were so nice because they knew your cell phone number 32:34.800 --> 32:39.200 in Romania and they were looking and they were so excited, I'm talking from here, that 32:39.200 --> 32:44.080 they couldn't get in touch because there was no signal and all the same, Velu left us 32:44.080 --> 32:48.960 nine messages, he wanted to know how we are, because it wasn't easy for us here either, 32:48.960 --> 32:55.840 but it touched me extraordinarily much, Gian, these brothers' love and I want to thank 32:55.840 --> 33:02.400 them from the bottom of my heart, from the bottom of my heart, all of you for thinking 33:02.400 --> 33:09.600 about us. I personally prayed with some of you brothers and you know exactly who you 33:09.600 --> 33:16.480 are, we prayed on the phone. What can I say? Everyone tried to participate in a way 33:16.480 --> 33:22.960 that is so supportive. I'm not only talking about Modesto Church where we go, I quickly 33:22.960 --> 33:28.800 sent a text when you were in the snow, exactly at the prayer hour, to Brother Tienu 33:28.800 --> 33:35.040 Hirishko. The Lord's Spirit knew immediately that it was the prayer hour and all of you 33:35.040 --> 33:41.040 brothers, because you were still in the snow, and they prayed. What touched me 33:41.040 --> 33:49.040 extraordinarily much, Gian, brothers from Germany, brother Vili Kleter, Gian, from 33:49.040 --> 33:53.040 time to time, and with Sorayka, from time to time this man called us and you called us 33:53.040 --> 33:59.040 in German and he called us, pastor, has a family, has services, and he said, brother Gian, 33:59.040 --> 34:05.040 I was there and I was interested in prices, I was there and I was interested in prices, 34:05.040 --> 34:09.040 brother Gian was there and I was interested in prices, but you know what it is, we're 34:09.040 --> 34:13.040 not sure if it could go down any further. Maybe we can find somewhere a lower price. 34:13.040 --> 34:19.040 When I discussed with a sister from here, from America, Gian from a state, who was 34:19.040 --> 34:25.040 visiting Romania and she said that Alexandra, a chocolate so small, how much will it cost? 34:25.040 --> 34:31.040 One dollar and a half in Romania. And when we knew our wish, which was the wish in 34:31.040 --> 34:37.040 the last couple of years, to buy a chocolate for a child, to make her a joy. And when 34:37.040 --> 34:43.040 I heard about it, even with my brother, I can't pronounce his name, who came with me. 34:43.040 --> 34:49.040 Seb. Yes, it's like I hear you in my ears, I hear you talking, it was on speaker. 34:49.040 --> 34:53.040 You were holding the connection from here and how much love, Gian, you know, a job 34:53.040 --> 34:59.040 doesn't go to fulfillment. Until there is that love through the spirit of God, the chain 34:59.040 --> 35:06.040 that God made us a whole unit, a job cannot be done. And in the wonder of everything, 35:06.040 --> 35:23.580 in the wonder of all the 35:36.040 --> 35:40.040 I, not only me, through the situations I was with Andrei here and with the little one, 35:40.040 --> 35:44.040 I tell him, and how much it mattered to us, and how we kept the connection with you, 35:44.040 --> 35:48.040 and how the spirit of God knew and brought us through words and gave us a word of 35:48.040 --> 35:53.040 men from the Holy Scripture. It's something that cannot be explained in words. 35:53.040 --> 35:56.040 It was not a brother to help us, we could not do this mission. 35:56.040 --> 35:58.040 We couldn't, we couldn't. 35:58.040 --> 36:01.040 And I want to say, on the second part of the mission, we left Saturday morning, in the 36:01.040 --> 36:06.040 Holy Spirit, the roads were clean, but when we got to the Holy Spirit, we saw that 36:06.040 --> 36:10.040 the snow was getting heavier and heavier and the road seemed to be getting smaller. 36:10.040 --> 36:14.040 Instead of two benches, we were putting up a rope and it was very hard for us to get 36:14.040 --> 36:19.040 to the Redim, to the mythical brother's house. There we were able to talk to him, 36:19.040 --> 36:23.040 I said I want to go with the wicked myth. He said, no, you can't, you can't get there. 36:23.040 --> 36:30.040 A two-meter snow is soft and you can't go with a horse or a sleigh, because 36:30.040 --> 36:34.040 the snow had not yet frozen. It was very soft and horses were going in and out 36:34.040 --> 36:36.040 of the snow until they were covered in snow. 36:36.040 --> 36:37.040 Yes. 36:37.040 --> 36:39.040 And they couldn't go in the snow. 36:39.040 --> 36:40.040 They were getting soft. 36:40.040 --> 36:47.040 And then we found a way to buy bags, right there from the Redim. 36:47.040 --> 36:49.040 We bought raffia bags. 36:49.040 --> 36:50.040 Raffia, yes, I saw. 36:50.040 --> 36:54.040 We put on the mythical brother's house so that all the brothers there, 36:54.040 --> 36:56.040 35 families, could hear the sound. 36:56.040 --> 37:02.040 And I said, give me each name and how many are in the family. 37:02.040 --> 37:03.040 How many family members. 37:03.040 --> 37:09.040 And the size of the family members, I put the food in bags, as you can see here 37:09.040 --> 37:15.040 on the video, even a small interview, in which we describe what we do. 37:15.040 --> 37:21.040 So I put them all in these raffia bags. I wrote the names, the brothers wrote the names 37:21.040 --> 37:27.040 and how many children there are. We put them in raffia bags, we put them in the living room. 37:27.040 --> 37:30.040 With the list and your names. 37:30.040 --> 37:38.040 And at the moment when we finished 35 families, there was some food left, 37:38.040 --> 37:44.040 which we brought to the Suceava district, where we were at least 10-12 families. 37:44.040 --> 37:47.040 But I didn't have the opportunity to go to him. 37:47.040 --> 37:51.040 The brother Georgica went personally and brought them. 37:51.040 --> 37:55.040 I also gave a few phrases from the radio, which we went personally. 37:55.040 --> 37:57.040 We went to two houses. 37:57.040 --> 37:59.040 We went to a house, to a woman, I see you. 37:59.040 --> 38:01.040 As you can see on the video. 38:01.040 --> 38:05.040 And even the brother Georgica did an interview. 38:05.040 --> 38:12.040 Here our sister is very well-maintained, a house of earth, a house that is made of 38:12.040 --> 38:21.040 hand-made rye, it has a single room, the house is left on one side, ready to be turned over. 38:21.040 --> 38:30.040 In the house next to it, it has two goats, three goats, with which it matures and a dog lives 38:30.040 --> 38:32.040 which is tied there. 38:32.040 --> 38:39.040 Here they eat in the same house with the goats and the dog. 38:39.040 --> 38:47.040 Let's pray to God that he will bless us with health and that he will take care of the old people. 38:47.040 --> 38:52.040 I have children, I want to give them to them. 38:52.040 --> 38:55.040 I have a new grandson. 38:55.040 --> 38:57.040 What are you doing? 38:57.040 --> 39:00.040 He is old, sick. 39:00.040 --> 39:05.040 This is the trie from Radauti Prut, on the Prut's shore, 39:05.040 --> 39:10.040 on the border with Ukraine and Moldova. 39:10.040 --> 39:16.040 Which is now very snowy and we can't enter. 39:16.040 --> 39:25.040 Half a meter left on one side, in which is a house of earth made. 39:25.040 --> 39:31.040 She is a widow, she had three goats, a dog, her grandson. 39:31.040 --> 39:36.040 All of them were in two rooms, in one room were the goats, 39:36.040 --> 39:40.040 in which she would milk them to have milk. 39:40.040 --> 39:46.040 And in the room where she sat, where she made the fire and where she slept with her grandson. 39:46.040 --> 39:53.040 I took her from what God gave us to give and I had the opportunity to show you a house of earth, 39:53.040 --> 39:54.040 how it looks. 39:54.040 --> 39:57.040 Of course, this house looks very bad, very bad. 39:57.040 --> 40:02.040 But if you watch the video from September, you can see the houses from there, 40:02.040 --> 40:07.040 which we filmed, some of them are very well maintained, very beautiful. 40:07.040 --> 40:10.040 And the people are very hospitable. 40:10.040 --> 40:12.040 But they are houses of earth. 40:12.040 --> 40:14.040 If they don't have possibilities. 40:14.040 --> 40:19.040 A storm comes, a flood comes, a big snow comes, it can fall. 40:19.040 --> 40:27.040 In September it was like it was in a certain period, in a territory where a few dozen houses, 40:27.040 --> 40:30.040 a few years ago, now it is an island, there is nothing left, 40:30.040 --> 40:34.040 because they were from the ground and the flood came and the water took everything. 40:34.040 --> 40:39.040 And on the first part of the mission we gave 570 packages, approximately, 40:39.040 --> 40:45.040 on the second part we gave 680 packages, which we left to my brother to take him personally to the schools. 40:45.040 --> 40:49.040 We received emails and we received photos. 40:49.040 --> 40:53.040 We received it, as my brothers said, that they went on the snow. 40:53.040 --> 40:55.040 The snow was frozen. 40:55.040 --> 40:58.040 The people from Mito Pruts came with a special van to take the food 40:58.040 --> 41:01.040 and there were children there, we gave them packages for the children. 41:01.040 --> 41:04.040 And what a joy, what a great joy it was. 41:04.040 --> 41:07.040 It was a great joy. 41:07.040 --> 41:10.040 But the greatest joy was when we left there. 41:10.040 --> 41:16.040 Because after we left there, after we visited the houses of these people, 41:16.040 --> 41:25.040 and we have been to a house, still two, I can say, mentally, they had a problem with these people. 41:25.040 --> 41:31.040 They live in a very bright place, there people come and many of them are in charge. 41:31.040 --> 41:36.040 And we had the opportunity to bring them some food and we prayed for them. 41:36.040 --> 41:41.040 We couldn't do more, because we couldn't go anywhere. The snow was very big. 41:41.040 --> 41:46.040 I would have cried a lot, as I promised, to go face to face. 41:46.040 --> 41:52.040 And I knew that, my brothers, even if we had the ticket for another week, the snow wouldn't be enough. 41:52.040 --> 41:54.040 It would take a few weeks. 41:54.040 --> 41:56.040 That two more weeks it would be cold. 41:56.040 --> 41:58.040 We couldn't afford it, Gian. 41:58.040 --> 42:02.040 We had to stay until the new year, so we could get there. 42:02.040 --> 42:09.040 Gian, and to get there, and to get the tickets, thank God that all three of you could come with that flight. 42:09.040 --> 42:10.040 That was a miracle. 42:10.040 --> 42:11.040 Well, what happened?
